Before I start adding new drawings (yes I’m procrastinating already) I thought I would add some drawings I did for an art class I took back in 2010.
While I appreciate compliments (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) any suggestions or criticisms are greatly appreciated.

REALLY like the wine glass one! Beautifully done, great attention to detail.
Very nice abstract drawings…. the wine glass showing the transparency is beautiful and so is the shadow effect in the drawing with cup n the book.

Thanks, Priya. I like your wine abstract. I’ve been hesitant to try and work on anything other than white paper, I’m not sure if I can change my way of looking/drawing things by adding light instead of dark.
Toilet paper, wine bottle and wine glass, mug and book are tops.

Very nice drawings, I like most toilet papers and wine bottle and glass. Just don’t understand the shadows on the right side of the pear and the pepper.
Thank you, those are my favorites as well :). The shadows on the right side were my attempt at creating more of a contrast between the light sides of the pear and the pepper. Unfortunately, those were two of the first drawings I had ever done in charcoal so I wasn’t quite as subtle as I would have liked. I’ve seen it done to great effect on some drawings (just not on these).
