Bargue Plate: Series I, Plate 5 (part 3)
I started rendering the tones today. It’s my favorite part of the drawing but I always forget how long it takes. This is about 2.5 hours of work. So here’s what I have so far of the series 1 plate 5 found in the Charles Bargue and Jean-Léon Gérôme Drawing Course.

I only had about 30 minutes today to work on series 1 plate 5 found in the Charles Bargue and Jean-Léon Gérôme Drawing Course book but I did manage to complete the lay in.

Bargue Plate: Series I, Plate 5 (part 1)
In an effort to keep myself on track, I’ve decided to post my progress on plate 5 as I go along. Hopefully, it will motivate me to keep drawing so I can keep posting. To that end, here’s the results of the first bit of work I’ve done on plate 5.

Before I start adding new drawings (yes I’m procrastinating already) I thought I would add some drawings I did for an art class I took back in 2010.
